Aromatherapy is a great help for those who want to lose weight because certain scents help fight anxiety and nervousness that lead the individual to eat more, bringing back the balance, making it easier to follow the diet. It is indicated:
  • If anxiety : Dilute 10 drops of essential oil of tangerine in a little water and keep around.
  • In case of cravings for sweets : Add 10 drops of essential oil of sage in a little water and keep around.
  • If the urge to snack : Prepare an infusion of lime with lemon balm and drink. It has a calming and soothing effect.
  • In case of cravings : Before bed, take a bath with a few drops of lavender essential oil.
  • In case of big appetite : Spray the home and the workplace daily with essential oil of sweet orange and verbena.
  • In the event of hunger due to the nervous system shaken : Apply two drops of essential oil of jasmine on the forehead and wrists making a gentle massage.
Aromatherapy is the inhalation of essential oils of vapors which are extracted from leaves, roots and flowers of herbs and then is distilled in steam. When inhaled or absorbed, they enter the body through balancing the energy meridians that match the acupuncture points.
Essential oils can be purchased in health food stores and in some pharmacies.
